Let’s not to ignore security of the CMSs.  Which one was the most hacked platform till 2016? Check full report here. According to sucuri.net the most hacked CMS is WordPress and less is Drupal.

“Reason is that WP is bigger target and there are a lot more plugins for WP than any other platform. It is often plugins are hacked rather than the core website.” Craig Buckler.

  1. These stats gives a clear picture that one should choose WordPress over any other CMS. I wouldn’t agree with that. WordPress is popular, yes, but a user shouldn’t choose WordPress just because of everyone is using it.

In my comparison of Joomla and WordPress,( https://www.wpblog.com/joomla-vs-wordpress-which-is-better-cms/ ) I concluded that selection of CMS should be based on usage.
